How To Find Us

Diamond Thai is conveniently located between the main shopping districts of Grafton and Hendry Street on Essex Quay. We’re just within the line of the ancient city walls in Temple Bar Dublin city centre.

You’ll find us right on the banks of the river Liffey adjacent to Wood Quay, barely a minute’s walk from the Dublin City Council offices.

Nearby landmarks include Christchurch, The Four Courts, and Smithfield. While local amenities in the immediate area include Smock Alley Theatre, the DCC office, and Café Hausbrand.

How to Get to Us

West and Northbound Dublin Bus routes are located on the South Quays. East and Southbound routes are also within easy walking distance. 

The Luas Red line to Tallaght/north wall is just across the Liffey, with the nearest stops behind the Four Courts and Jervis Street. It connects with the green line towards Saint Stephen’s Green, a couple of stops away at the GPO O’Connell Street.

There’s also a Dublin Bike Station just up the road beside us on Fishamble Street.

What About Parking

We won’t lie. Parking around here can be a bit of a problem. Where in Dublin isn’t it?

There is some limited on-street parking just around the corner on Fishamble Street. And more across the Liffey on the adjacent Wood and Inns Quay.

There’s also a multi-story car park just behind Jury’s hotel at Christchurch here. And at Jervis Street, there’s a bigger one here where you’ll nearly always find a spot. Both are less than a 5-minute walk away from us.

We’re open Monday – Saturday, 11.00 Am till 8.00 Pm. And Sunday by appointment only.
